Midland splits its outdoor life between Georgian Bay and an inland lake that still feels central. Midland Harbour, often called the Town Dock, sits at the base of King Street as the gathering place and marina gateway to the bay. Harbourside Park, on the old CN station grounds, is where Ribfest, Canada Day, and the Butter Tart Festival show up on the municipal amenities list. Midland Bay Landing Park marks the former coal dock with a lookout, and the Midland Rotary Waterfront Trail strings more than eight kilometres of shore walking past downtown, the harbour, and the parks.
A few blocks inland, Little Lake Park does a different job. It is the Town's largest community park, with beach, disc golf, skatepark, amphitheatre, and a splash pad under construction for 2026.
